COMMENTARY INTERPRETATION SCALE (CIS)

    The Commentary Interpretation Scale (CIS) is a 16-item scale that measures the negativity of the interpretation of neutral statements. This scale has an appearance and a general comment subscales.  The scale has a test-retest reliability of  .72.  The standardization sample used was composed of female college students.
